Wadi in Arabic means a valley that is dry except for the rainy season. Wadi Shaab in Oman is one of the most spectacular sight that nature has to offer. I visited there recently and had a great time exploring it. The beautiful Canyons, the lovely greenish cool water and the palms made a nice composition to paint. As we go deeper in to this valley, the overwhelming canyons on either side and the still cool water streams in the scorching hot desert makes us realize the abundance of God's realm.
Your description of the painting is really good and meaningful. A lovely painting too.
ReplyDeleteI wonder at such wonderful creations by God of natural pools of cool water in greenish blue colour amidst awesome canyons in a desert like area.Your painting reflected truly the beauty of the place and your description matched the painting in its elegance .

I've thought recently. He created us as his copies (pardon my English), so that is why we were able to create too. And that is why our every smallest attempt to create is approved and makes him (and us) happy.
ReplyDeleteHere again, your painting is powerful and energetic and live, transferring so closely your admiration of nature.
Such beautiful colours ... making a glorious painting.
ReplyDeleteThe sheer magnitude of the cliffs on either side is enough to take anyone's breath away! I really like the strong diagonal strokes in this; and the repeated triangular shapes that create a stunning composition. Would love to walk right into this landscape.
