The Mighty One

The neem tree in front of my apartment
I keep looking at this big neem tree that is just opposite to my apartment and I am always awe struck with its mighty look. It has so much of character, balance and empowerment and needless to say it is conveying me an everyday awareness for the need to bring in the same kind of balance and empowerment in to my life.

And how glorious it would look if it turned all orange! So here I go..I tried building the rest of the elements around this tree, the addition of the swans was a last thought since it felt so empty. Hope you enjoy!
The morning fresh and crisp,
While the swans swim on the autumn lake,
The mighty one is all smiles!

    The sky too has taken on orange colour taking cue from the tree with its orange leaves.Your imagination is running riot with a lake and a few swans to add to the delight.The verse underneath is the icing on the cake.Remarkably talented!!

    I like the way you are inspired by the subjects around you and then use your imagination to create your work of art. It is a lovely composition. I like the way you carried the color of the tree into the water and sky for harmony.

    I wondered if your tree will turn orange and loose it's leaves, I do not know anything about a neem tree. I have noticed the orange/yellow/rust colors in all of the changing leaves here right now, it is so beautiful that I am also going to be painting autumn. Your tree is inspirational.

    Your neem tree is beautiful, Padmaja. Do they grow in multiples like this? ..one fostering the growth of another nearby? I like the addition of the swans.

    Wowness..such a spectacular painting..the energy and spirit of this beautiful tree is shining out loudly..so magnificently painted!
