A 16 by 20 inch oil on canvas.
Peacock is the national bird of India and I think one of the most beautiful birds. May be God colored this bird with so much of passion that you get to see some of the most magnificent colors on his feathers! The colors come out alive and strike you like a lightening when you get to see him dance. The graceful rhythm of colors that flow out of the spread wings is hard to describe. I was lucky to catch such an exotic experience when I was traveling on road in Rajasthan (India). I have made a humble attempt to paint, what I felt, not what I saw, with this painting :-)
My blogger friend Rama Ananth has showcased my latest painting on Lord Ganesh for this years Ganesha's birthday on Prismma,, hope you enjoy! Thank you Prismma Team and Rama:-)
