Happy Moments

"sun lit" Acrylic on canvas 10 by 12 inches
"Bathing in the sun" Acrylic on canvas 8 by 10 inches
"In a row" Acrylic on canvas 8 by 10 inches

The reference for these paintings is from my friend Rama Ananth's Sedona trip. (Thank you Rama for permitting me to use them!), I have deviated a bit from them. I have been to Sedona myself and have enjoyed happy moments that I cherish for ever.I had a great time playing with the colors, as much as my visit to this beautiful place.Hope you enjoy them too!
When I was working on these , I received  this quote in my mail that was sent by my friend KP, which I thought I would share here again.
"A happy life is just a string of happy moments. But most people don't allow the happy moment because they are so busy to get a happy life" Esther Hicks.

  5. Lately I have had color on my mind and these paintings so rich and lush, will help inspire me once I am back to painting. I think jewel tones in the sky of the 3rd piece are calling out happy moments to me.

And your use of color in the bottom painting made me think it was a tapestry. Wonderful, beautiful, gorgeous work. I'm in awe!
