Connection

Last minutes, oil on canvas 8 by 10 inches
Sometimes when you feel you are alone, when you think there is none you can connect to, there is something out there in nature in its abundance that reassures that you are still connected, the glowing orange ball that was going down was one such connection. Sitting in my terrace lawn, I witnessed a beautiful sunset moment that inspired me to take it to an unknown beach on my canvas. Hope you enjoy!

  7. That is a wonderful painting..The beauty of it lay not in capturing the reality as you saw but in bringing out the soul of the scene in your canvas embellished with your imagination.Such exercises incidentally remove the mental fatigue.I liked your brief note too.

  17. Oh Padmaja, you've done it again, spoken a few simple words that carried an abundance of meaning! The painting does the same... the composition flows in such a unified way, yet there is so much variation, rhythm, and expression within that flow. It's beautiful!
