Watchers

Watchers, 8 by 10 inches oil
This is the view of the Jordon Valley from top. As we watched the valley waking up to the morning sun, I felt these little trees watched it over as well, very live and very human like!
Thanks for looking.

  5. Yes, the trees are the silent observers that take in all that is going on around it.

  7. I notice the red more than the trees, and it makes me think of the chakras; root, life, base. Love the valley view.

  8. I especially like those pink clouds. The trees do look like they are staunchly standing guard as well as taking in the wonder. They enhance the depth of this painting dramatically and may be why they are so noticeable. Wonderful painting, Padmaja!

  9. I really love your paintings. The colors in this one are perfect. I also like the depth looking into the valley. I'm happy that the trees are watching over the valley.
