"Survivors", 8 by 10 inches, oil
Everywhere in Hawaii, we can find these red flowers growing on the volcanic rocks. From a distance, it looks like red carpets thrown all around. At first sight,I was stunned, stunned by the beauty and the lesson it taught.Yes, they felt like survivors to me,leading an authentic unique life against odd situations.
My grand father was one, who never once let the tough life situations and set backs over power him, displaying the quality of resilience and emerging out successfully. I would like to be like him and these red flowers, well, at least I am trying!
