Wilderness Sojourn

I havent posted here for a long time! But I am in touch with all the blogs I enjoy. I had a great vacation to Masai Mara recently and I wanted to do a few landscapes from the trip. Including  people or animals in to my landscapes is not my forte. But I still went ahead doing it.
Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya,. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages of Maasai people.

  5. I have missed some of your blog posts now that I am on a word press platform, better late than never! I had to comment on the Masi Mara paintings. I visited - the Serengeti - but it was over 30 years ago! It still looks beautiful, pristine, and wild. I enjoyed seeing your interpretations. You always capture a sense of solitude.
